Starting in 2017 I was hired at Bluewater Gear as their Art Director.
By focusing on demographic, marketing and branding of this company I was able to successfully manage a 400% increase in sales through wholesale as well as online outlets within the first year and a half of management. Creating a company logo, overseeing and artistically creating apparel/pattern design, marketing plans and graphics, production management as well as creating and implementing catalog timelines were all completed under deadlines.
This brand is now worldwide with stores in Saipan, the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands along with multiple stores and accounts in the U.S.A including - The Hilton, La Quinta, and multiple locally owned stores from Florida to Ohio (including 8 other states)

Directed and created page layouts, logos, sizing charts, SKU’S / costs, as well as directing photoshoots, producing samples for photoshoots and buyer to buyer shows.
A “personalize your gear” section was added to give clients the option to name drop on already created designs for the purpose of booking more sales. While creating designs there was a strong focus on the cohesiveness of the catalog to get family design booking and collective outfit booking by using designs across multiple SKU’S.
Once the entire catalog was completed it was produced through a printing press and distributed to clients to pre-book sales for SPRING 2020 and SPRING 2019.

Creating sales, marketing material, social media strategy and email blasts were things I would do for this company. By coming up with sales to engage our audience I was able to help the company grow exponentially. This marketing material spilled over into our wholesale strategizing as well. By creating graphics (as seen below) to entice our audience there was a huge spike in sales when we would push promotions!

My spot print designs at Bluewater Gear were customizable designs that were based on different aspects of what Ocean Lovers would like. From fishing designs to maps, saline, flip flops and more Bluewater Gears spot print designs are extensive and all inclusive, which was my goal. There truly is something for everyone!
